Bike Brake Calipers

Cantilever brakes, typically used on cyclocross bikes, are mounted to the frame and forks with two bolts, while the now rarely seen V-brakes, which are also mounted with two bolts, offer a simplified design compared to cantilevers. There are hydraulic versions of V-brakes and road caliper brakes available.
