Founded on a design ethos of simplicity and utility, Patagonia has been manufacturing outdoor premium clothing and equipment for over 45 years. Originally making equipment for rock climbers and alpinists, they have branched out into other ‘silent sports’ including cycling clothing and run clothing, bringing their philosophy of sustainability and expertise in technical clothing to bear in these other categories. Today they donate 1% of sales to environmental causes every year and are committed to using as many recycled and organic materials as possible throughout their products.
