Bontrager’s Paradigm Elite Disc Rear Wheel is a good combination of low weight, handling and value.
The shallow alloy rim is tubeless-ready so quick to switch to use without an inner tube and has a decent internal and external width for use with larger volume road tyres. At 21mm deep, it won’t be troubled by crosswinds so it can happily be used in all weather conditions with the Center Lock disc brake fitting ensuring reliable and consistent control. Stacked lacing alignment and the offset spoke bed work together to make the wheel stiffer and stronger for better handling and longevity. The hub uses DT Swiss’ star ratchet system for rapid, sure-footed engagement.
