The Scirocco C17 features the new wider profile rim design, giving better profile to the tyre, maximising Grip, comfort and aerodynamic benefits.
The 35mm deep alloy rim which gives the perfect balance of aero performance and lightweight, making this a perfect wheelset for any road conditions. All of this combined with Campagnolo's unique G3 spoke pattern ensures you have one of the stiffest and lightest wheelsets available.
The Mega-G3 Spoke pattern is a type of spoke assembly that improves energy transfer between the hub, which reduces stress on the right-hand side which in turn increases the rigidity of the wheel. This is achieved by having twice as many spokes as the left hand side.

Bought these as an upgrade to existing wheels. I wanted to have some Italian wheels on an Italian frame, having compromised when I built the bike. They run nicely - I don't race so whether they are 'faster' it is hard to say. However I love the way they look and they don't have a horribly loud freehub. THey have already had a couple of hard knocks on crappy Gloucestershire roads and remain true.
