Designed to help make strong swimmers even faster, ROKA’s Maverick X II Womens Wetsuit offers a host of features for maximum speed. The Arms-Up construction gives greater freedom of movement around the shoulders than a standard wetsuit resulting in a freer stroke and less fatigue, whilst the IXI Taping within the wetsuit ensures that upper and lower body remain connected in terms of power transfer. This is particularly useful in the later stages of a long swim when tiredness sets in and it’s easy to lose form in the water.

By combining RSX centreline buoyancy and a graduated buoyancy profile ROKA has allowed a snappier rotation that helps prevent dead spots in the stroke whilst also giving a more hydrodynamic position by raising the legs. Yamamoto’s premium neoprene has been combined with an SCS (Super Composite Skin) hydrophobic nano coating for further speed gains, and the tricot liner has been selected to give not only good support and comfort but it also absorbs less water than many other linings. Excellent proprioception is provided by the stretch-woven forearm of the suit, allowing the swimmer to better feel the water through the stroke, and efficiency out of the water is offered by the 2mm quick release heel panels for rapid transitions.
