The Bell Formula LED MIPS Road Helmet combines excellent safety features with an integrated light, making it a great option for staying safe and visible out on the road. The 20 lumens rechargeable LED light has three modes and can last for up to 10 hours on its most efficient setting. Its location at the back of the helmet ensures that it is highly visible to drivers and won’t be obscured by a saddle bag or any luggage. Bell’s Float Fit system secures the helmet comfortably on the head using an easy to adjust dial, with the No-Twist Tri-Glide buckles keeping the straps flat against the face for greater comfort. When the effort levels increase, the Sweat Guide will be appreciated, as it prevents perspiration from running into the eyes or getting onto the sunglasses.
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) allows the helmet to rotate on the head is subjected to an oblique impact without transmitting those forces to the head or brain, thus reducing the chances of injury. The Fusion In-Mould polycarbonate shell design provides more traditional protection against knocks, by absorbing the forces as much as possible.
