Based on the popular Sci-Con Aero Tech, the Bike Box Alan Bike Transport Case in red is suitable for mountain, road, time trial, track bikes and works with integrated seatposts. Packing is quick and easy with the bare minimum of component removal. It's lockable, can be converted to a roof box and comes with foam packaging and straps.

The box is manufactured from polyethene, a highly durable plastic that will not crack or splinter. It's commonly used in the manufacture of wheelie bins, grit bins and tubs for transporting concrete, etc. Rival manufacturers of boxes and bags use a variety of fragile plastic toggle catches and zips or straps to hold the sides together. Bike Box chooses robust, serviceable steel catches.

The most vulnerable part of any transport case is usually the wheels. Bike Box uses robust twin bearing rubber bound wheels which are mounted on energy-absorbing rubber pads to ensure silky smooth, quiet operation. Unlike most other boxes the wheels are fixed with nuts and screws to facilitate removal in the event of damage.

Will my bike fit? 

The Bike Box Alan Bike Transport Case fits 95% of bikes (including road bikes up to 65cm) and is compatible with disc brakes, thru-axles and tubeless tyres. It is recommended that if you mainly travel with your road bike and occasionally with a mountain bike, the BBA Original range is a perfect choice.
