Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 TLR Disc Clincher Front Wheel
Bontrager’s Aeolus Pro 5 TLR Disc Clincher Front Wheel is a 50mm deep carbon wheel with a 27mm external and 19.5mm internal width. Wider than traditional wheels, this allows the tyre to spread and create a more even U-shape rather than being pinched into a lightbulb profile by a narrow rim. This in turn provides greater air volume for comfort, grip and decreased rolling resistance due to the shorter, wider contact patch.
The Centre Lock disc brake compatible hub uses a 100x12mm thru axle for stiffness and security, whilst the drag is reduced at both the tyre edge and the rim edge by the D3 Dual Directional Design profile rim.
