I bought the Terra Argo X3 a month ago in the 160mm size. It has a flat cross-section but a waved side profile, dropping slightly at the nose. It’s very well put together and has light padding - so good cycling shorts are still required. It is very light weight. It’s a very comfortable saddle, though has a slightly slippery surface and benefits from a slight down-tilt. The saddle rails are very generous in length at 3&3/4 inches. It’s pretty much a standard road saddle length at 270mm and looks better than the stubby saddles like the Specialized Power Expert. It has a cut-out which is thoughtfully blocked from the elements. The cut-out is deeper and not blocked on the slightly shorter Tempo Argo, which I also have and prefer slightly more for the road bike, but not much in it. The price for the Terra Argo X3 is a bit steep at £130 but as saddles can be a bit of a holy grail, it’s worth it - though you can get the very slightly heavier Terra Argo X5 saddle for £40 cheaper. A great Gravel Bike saddle. Can recommend 100%.

Using its gravel-specific design and sophisticated construction, the Fizik Terra Argo X3 Saddle aids the dedicated rider in conquering the longest and most demanding of adventures.
The short length and the wide, ergonomic cut-out allows the rider’s pelvis to be rotated forwards into a more powerful position without placing excessive pressure on the sensitive blood vessels and nerves of the perineum. The waved profile, from front to rear, helps to stabilise the pelvis for greater stability and weight distribution and reduces the load on the back muscles during longer rides.
A carbon-reinforced nylon shell is tuned with a certain amount of compliance to absorb the vibrations of rough riding surfaces and adds Wingflex sides that eliminate restriction on the inner thighs while pedalling. This more flexible shell is bolstered structurally by the resilient but lightweight Kium Mobius rails.
The saddle is completed with Type-2 foam padding that takes the edge off the most irregular terrain and has extra thickness under the ischial sit bones for increased support.

Makes you sit in a great position and gets rid of the nose of saddle making mounting and dismounts easier. Takes out a lot of harsh trail bumps on the gravel bike. I'm almost 100% off road, in the drops, the new position was brilliant and the groove helps as always. 100% recommended.
