Focus Paralane AL Tiagra Disc Road Bike 2018
The Focus Paralane AL Tiagra is a do-it-all Road Bike, suitable for year round riding in any weather. With big tyre clearance and relaxed geometry, it offers a comfortable ride, all day long. The durability of a high grade 7005 hydroformed aluminium frame is complemented by the road damping and weight saving qualities of a carbon fibre fork. Internal cable routing to the frame and fork give this great value combination of materials a top-end look.
A disc brake specific frame and fork, the Paralane supports clearance for up to 35mm tyres. The advantages of a longer fork and chainstays don't end there. Handling remains snappy as the requirement for spacers underneath the stem is reduced, all while keeping an endurance fit.
RAT Thru-axels provide a stable and sure-footed power transfer to the wheels, further enhancing stability when braking. The Alex CXD-6 Wheelset has an aesthetic 24 spoke set up, and an internal rim spacing of 17mm, offering a comfortable wide tyre platform.
Handling is exceptional for a do-it-all road bike with relaxed geometry. This is achieved by the 75mm bottom bracket drop, giving the rider a lower centre of gravity, bringing added confidence and stability when cornering and descending.
By including the reliable Shimano Tiagra 4700 10-speed Groupset, Focus have ensured a quality shifting and drivetrain experience. A compact chainset, long cage rear derailleur coupled with the wide-ranging cassette equip this bike to make light work of even the toughest hills.
Focus has enlisted the talents of Belgian company Curana to create a bespoke set of mudguards specifically for the Paralane. The plug-and-play system makes them easy to install or remove, so you can be ready for any weather. Tyres up to 32mm wide can be used with the mudguards in place, or up to 35mm with the mudguards removed, bringing the Focus Paralane into an entirely new world of possibilities.
Finishing kit comes from BBB, with durable and reliable aluminium components used throughout.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
