Scott Addict 20 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017
When you’re anxiously waiting on that cold, wet and windy start line on a Sunday morning, you need to have the utmost confidence in your bike, and with the Scott Addict 20 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017, you’ll never have to worry again. The frame is lightweight, durable and can handle anything you throw at it thanks to Scott’s renowned IMP Carbon technology, and the wide range of high-performance components will see you at the top of the cyclocross podium in next to no time.
The CX Race geometry is specifically developed for the cyclocross course, with more aggressive characteristics that enhance the already responsive handling but also allows you to jump off and sling the frame over your shoulder when the gradient starts to ramp up.
Scott have instilled their confidence in Shimano for their groupset, and for good reason. Shimano RS505 hydraulic disc brakes are a staple in the cyclocross world, providing predictable, controlled braking in even the worst of conditions, so you can head into that tight switchback or wooded section with optimum comfort.
Shimano’s 105 5800, 11-speed gearing system pays testament to the lightweight frame and fork, offering split second shifting and enough durability to keep performing when you’re knee deep in mud. The 11-32t cassette gives an extra level of spin when your bike gets clogged up with mud, or that never ending hill starts to get incredibly slippery, too.
Scott’s Syncros RP2.0 Disc 28h wheels are the piste du resistance, remaining stable and rigid when you’re churning around the course. The Continental Cyclocross xKing 700x25c tyres work alongside these wheels to enhance grip, but thanks to their hardened side walls, also enhance puncture resistance.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
