Combining a good level of warmth and comfort with packability, the Prolite Apex Large Sleeping Pad from Thermarest is the one to take for a great night’s sleep. With an R value of 3.8 and a 5cm deep pad, there is comfort aplenty, yet the weight and pack size are still perfectly palatable. The StrataCore loft and expanding foam are supplemented with air through the self-inflating system which can then be tuned to the ideal firmness using a few breaths through the WingValve.
