Tifosi Rostra Disc Centaur Gravel Bike 2022
Winter trainer, fast commuter and off-road explorer; Tifosi’s Rostra Disc Centaur Gravel Bike can do it all.
The aluminium frame has mounts for a mudguard and rack whilst the carbon fork can also handle a full-length mudguard. Tyre clearance is 32mm with mudguards fitted or 32mm without, so there is plenty of room for modern rubber and the external cabling will be a welcome sight for many professional and amateur mechanics.
A combination of 34/50 chainset and 11-34 cassette means that there are plenty of ratios available for hills, headwinds or heavy loads and the Campagnolo Centaur shifters and derailleurs provide crisp, accurate shifts across the whole block. Ideal for use in poor weather, Tektro’s mechanical disc brakes ensure good, consistent control and are easy to maintain. The Impac CrossPac tyres are a good option for mixed use, with enough grip for light off-road use without sacrificing too much on-road efficiency, and Miche’s Race DX wheels are equally versatile.
