Trek Fuel EX 7 NX Eagle 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
Pitched at riders who want a great value, one bike solution to their off-road riding, the Trek Fuel EX 7 NX Eagle 27.5" Mountain Bike combines a 130mm aluminium frame with a 140mm fork and quality components, resulting in a highly versatile trail bike that is equally at home at trail centres and on big mountain days out.
The FOX Performance FLOAT EVOL rear shock provides an efficient pedalling platform to help ease the climbs and is still supple enough to provide small bump compliance and big hit protection thanks to the Trek Suspension Lab tuned 3-position damper. The frame’s geometry can be altered between two positions, making the bike either slacker or steeper, by switching around the Mino Link chip in the rocker, further increasing its versatility. Knock Block frame protection prevents the fork crown from striking the downtube, and the Active Braking Pivot (ABP) rear triangle design keeps the suspension active during braking rather than effectively locking out as many bikes do. Front suspension is in the form of a 140mm RockShox 35 Gold DebonAir spring fork with a Motion Control damper and Boost spacing to keep the wheel tracking straight and true.
By using 27.5” Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels on these smaller sized frames Trek has been able to keep the handling consistent with the larger frames and 29” wheels, for an agile and confident ride. Shimano’s evergreen MT400 hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power whilst SRAM’s 12-speed NX Eagle drivetrain takes care of shifting across the 11-50 cassette. A TranzX dropper seatpost means that the saddle can be instantly lowered to make steep drops easier.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
