Trek Project One Fuel EX 9.9 X01 Eagle AXS 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
The Project One Fuel EX 9.9 X01 Eagle AXS 27.5" Mountain Bike from Trek showcases SRAM’s top-flight wireless groupset which does away with cables completely, ensuring that every gear shift is as crisp and precise as the first one. The AXS system also operates the RockShox Reverb dropper seatpost, meaning an end to any rattling and routing issues and there are a number of aspects of AXS which can be customised via the smartphone app.
The carbon frame itself has 130mm of super-plush travel from the Kashima treated FOX Factory FLOAT EVOL shock which has been custom-tuned by the Trek Suspension Lab. The 140mmm FOX Factory 36 FLOAT EVOL fork also has the revered Kashima Coat as well as a GRIP2 damper which gives great scope for fine-tuning both the high and low speed compression and damping to make sure maximum benefit is enjoyed. The frame features a number of proprietary technologies and ideas including Mino Link to allow the geometry to be altered between two positions and Knock Block which protects the downtube from the fork crown in the event of a crash. The smaller 27.5” wheels work more appropriately with the smaller frame sizes, ensuring that the handling remains nimble and consistent across the range.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
