Trek Top Fuel 9.8 XT Team Edition Mountain Bike 2020
Trek’s Top Fuel 9.8 XT Mountain Bike is ideally suited to long-distance races or events, with the full-suspension chassis and geometry setup for comfort, efficiency and control. Both the front and rear FOX shock units benefit from their Kashima Coat technology, which uses an anodised layer of molybdenum disulphide on the stanchions to increase durability and smoothness so that it can react better to small bumps. The frame itself is made from OCLV Mountain Carbon and uses a Mino Link in the magnesium rocker to enable the geometry to be switched between a steeper and a slacker setting depending on preference. The Knock Block headset and Carbon Armor protect the frame from the fork crown and rock strikes respectively and Control Freak cabling keeps the bike looking svelte.
The carbon Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 wheels use Boost hub spacing to keep the wheel stiffer through rocks, roots and ruts, which helps both the steering and the suspension work better, and the Bontrager Line Elite Dropper seatpost provides an instant way to lower the seatpost when required. With Shimano’s XT drivetrain and SLX hydraulic disc brakes, both performance and reliability are assured and the combination of a 32 tooth chainring and 12-speed 10-51 cassette provides plenty of ratios for all occasions.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
