Following on from a successful Experience Day at our Oakham store, we have launched our Oakham monthly social ride series. Ride with us on Sunday 24th October and join one of our two different speed groups leaving the store. Each ride will have a non-drop policy, with the focus of this ride being to meet new people and explore the local roads.

We’ll be meeting at the store at 9am for a relatively flat ride, covering a distance of 56.8 kilometres and climbing approx 471 metres. 

Heading out from the Sigma Sports Oakham store, we will ride north, through Ashwell before beginning a loop towards Hungerton. We will head back via Stainby and Market Overton before we return to our Sigma Sports store.

Speed Levels

The ride will be split into two groups:

A faster group (Group 1), averaging 17-18mph. This is ideal for those who are looking for a simple, social ride but still get home in time for lunch.

A slower group (Group 2), averaging 15-16mph, which is perfect for anyone new to the sport, or even for those who have been riding for a while but haven’t ridden in a group before and would like to gain a bit more experience.
