Assos IJ tiburu 4 Long Sleeve Jersey
Once temperatures drop below the range of your Assos iJ intermediate s7 Long Sleeved Jersey, then this Assos IJ tiburu 4 Long Sleeve Jersey should be the garment of choice. When the temperature drops further, you can simply add a base layer or an additional jacket or gilet to make this a highly versatile item.
Further insulation has been added to this jersey with the Assos fleecy type RX fabric incorporated into the front and upper arms - areas prone to chill in the cycling position.
Added insulation does not leave the jersey feeling stuffy, as Assos have carefully balanced materials, such as the RXQ fabric, on the rear panel. This is a lighter version of the RX from the front and thus allows you to regulate body temperature perfectly for performance.
As you would expect from Assos, the detail in the design goes beyond the normal. The integration of an Assos rear stabiliser panel design means the tibuRu fits perfectly when cycling. Ingeniously, it also means the three rear pockets will remain securely in place no matter how loaded with 'essentials' they become.
Although this is a stunning jacket, practicality has not been lost. The three rear pockets allow you to store ride essentials near to hand, whilst the zippered centre pocket gives added security for your valuables.
Please note: Assos have designed this to work in the cycling position. Therefore, they state that it should feel "all wrong" when worn standing, but perfectly snug when cycling.
