The Bontrager Ion 350 RT Front Light is a great choice for any rider looking to enhance their visibility and functionality on the bike. The powerful, constant blast of 350 lumens gives a wide spread beam of light, whilst a recharge time of 4 hours makes it ideal for commuting.

The addition of Bontrager’s revolutionary Transmitr feature is welcomed when you’re riding in dark, cold conditions when you’re wearing gloves and even when the light is strapped to your helmet. Connected through ANT+, this light can be controlled through the Bontrager Transmitr Wireless Remote (sold separately) for the ultimate in on the bike safety. Instead of having to fiddle about with buttons and switches when you’re riding, this feature completely takes it out of the equation.

Through extensive research, Bontrager was able to identify that lights need to be visible from at least 400m to give drivers ample time to notice and react to a cyclist. Instead of just giving the Ion 350 RT Front Light 400m of visibility, it’s visible from up to 1.5km away, therefore giving you more than enough safety on the road. In the day, Bontrager recommend the use of ‘Day Flash’ mode, which lasts 10 hours, whilst ‘Night Flash’ lasts up to 8 hours.

The Ion 350 RT has also been completely weather sealed. Even the USB charging port is protected from the rain and allows you to plug your light into your computer when you arrive at the office, and you’ll be riding bright all the way home.
