Bought this to the reduce vibrations riding at speed on hard grassy ground. Yes it's a little thicker than usual but not overly thick. Just the right amount of padding and it fits nice too. Nice amount of stretch when wrapping the bars.
Very nice tape, spongy therefore comfortable. I also like the mat finish, looks really good on my bike.
