By utilising an advanced grade of carbon, meticulous design and a sophisticated manufacturing process, the DT Swiss PRC 1100 DICUT Mon Chasseral 24mm Disc Brake Rear Wheel becomes the ideal weapon for attacking the most demanding climbs.
Laid in a strict pattern, the refined grade of carbon material used within the rim naturally affords high lateral stiffness and stunningly low weight. The rim's rigidity and strength are further enhanced by its asymmetrical cross-section, and this, combined with its low weight, promotes an urgent, surging sensation when pressing hard on the steepest ascents. The rim's internal format allows the use and easy installation of either tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres, giving the rider a choice governed by personal preference or riding style.
A DT Swiss 180 DICUT hub is added to the build with this top of the range offering heightening power transfer and disc brake modulation thanks to its sturdy flanges that mate perfectly with the T-head configuration of the Aero Comp spokes. The hub shells house super-smooth ceramic bearings that lower rotational friction markedly and an EXP freehub body affords instant engagement under pedalling input.
