Gore Wear R5 Gore-Tex Infinium Soft Lined Running Jacket
The Gore Wear R5 Gore-Tex Infinium Soft Lined Running Jacket is lightweight, breathable and features detachable sleeves so that it can be worn as a gilet to still offer protection to your core when you're moving fast but the temperature is still on the lower side. Low profile zips at the shoulder are hidden behind a comfort flap so they are quick and easy to locate, without adding additional bulk if you are carrying. The Gore-Tex Infinium technology has both a Persistent Beading Surface and is soft-lined, so that it repels water yet still maintains windproof and breathable qualities and fits close to the body, optimising your comfort when on the move.
Detailing to ensure a precise and consistent fit is extensive, with a partial drawcord at the waist, a grippy elastic hem, stretchable inserts at the cuff to hold sleeves in place and a performance cut. A raised collar keeps out the cold drafts around the neck and the full-length zip is two-way meaning you can self-regulate for a blast of ventilation as required. There are two large front pockets for carrying essentials, both zipped with internal compartments, and if running in a built-up area the reflective details help with visibility.
