New and improved, the Huub Archimedes 2 4:4 Wetsuit carries on from where the original Archimedes left off. The Archimedes 2 uses neoprene that is 25% thinner, around the back, arms and shoulders, paired with 1 millimetre thick Chloroprene foam and an ultra flexible lining, resulting in a wetsuit that offers improved flexibility and stroke reach.

The 4:4 version of the Archimedes wetsuit is ideal for the strong swimmer who wants to be at the sharp end of wetsuit technology. A strong swimmer should have great horizontal position in the water, the 4:4 lets you concentrate purely on maintaining a smooth natural action.

Remodelling of the underarm gusset and careful repositioning of the stitching further improves reach. Incredibly flexible material has been added to the lateral panels, this provides an arm-reach modulus reduction of 18%. Put simply, less energy is required for a longer stretch.

Huub are proud of their 'non suit' feel. This allows the athlete to swim and move with the speed of a wetsuit without the restrictive feel often experienced when wearing one.

Tested by some of the worlds top Ironman athletes and triathletes, the X-O Skeleton framework is a welcome addition. This system holds your core in the most efficient position possible to keep your hips inline and stops, the common, fishtailing that wastes power and speed. Correcting all of these issues, the X-O Skeleton promotes good body roll and encourages a good stroke. For the Archimedes 2 the X-O Skeleton is 80% larger and now provides the athlete with even more control.

The calf release feature, found on the original Archimedes, has increased in volume. Now 25% larger, this is designed to support the lower modulus on the calf and improve your kick. The 1 millimetre thin nylon does not impede movement but does help to reduce the risk of cramping.

On the upper section, the bicep release has been redesigned to offer a natural flexed recovery arm. This makes for a much more efficient swim stroke.

Comfort has been provided with a low neck line. A stylish black design with distinctive Huub graphics and detailing sets this suit apart from the competition and is sure to look fantastic as you slice through the water.
