Keeping up to date with the modern advancements and technology that trail bikes present, Mavic introduce their E-XA Elite 27.5+ MTB Wheelset 2018. Encompassing optimised rim design and top-quality materials, this rim is specifically designed to support and enhance the ride quality of trail E-bikes.
With a precise and reliable construction, the E-XA Elite wheelset utilises the ISM 2D machining process to forge their lightweight Maxtal aluminium rims. This high-end technique presents the perfect balance between robust strength and reduced weight resulting in a durable yet agile rim perfect for the modern demands of E-bikes.
Optimised for the heavy hitting power presented by electronic mountain bikes, the 40mm internal width accommodates plus size tyres, offering excellent traction control for improved precision handling on an array of trail conditions, from fast cornering berms to technical rocky and root riddled descents.
Retaining the lightweight quality of this wheelset whilst providing reliable and fast transmissions is the ITS-4 hub. Constructed to output powerful rider inputs with responsive speed, the ITS-4 hub encompasses four strong pawls that work two by two to excel efficiently through an array of trails.
Featuring a UST rim design, Mavic has ensured their high-performance wheelset is up to date with modern advancements in tyre fittings, accommodating both clincher and UST tubeless tyres so you can take advantage of improved traction, comfort and significantly reduced punctures presented when utilising the tubeless setup.
