A comprehensive feature list makes the Northwave Celsius XC GTX Winter MTB Shoes an ideal choice for when tackling the trails in cold, wintery riding conditions.
With a Pique Gore-Tex membrane integrated into their construction, the uppers of these shoes protect the feet from chilly winds and rain. This increased protection is improved further by the Easyfit Climaflex collars that extend up above the ankles for extra warmth. At the same time, Arctic 4Layer insoles are added to the shoes to prevent heat from escaping through the soles.
The uppers wrap over the feet securely thanks to the overlapping format, and the dial closures tighten evenly to prevent high-pressure points. This snug fit is complemented by thermoformed heel cups that stabilise the feet to stop annoying slipping during hard efforts.
Jaws Carbon Reinforced soles provide high levels of pedalling efficiency and are grippy when running with the bike through heavy terrain thanks to their toe studs and prominent tread pattern. Reflective accents and logos give enhanced safety for when cycling on any roads that link trails together.
Please note: These shoes, whilst using waterproof materials, will not keep all water out during downpours or when subjected to heavy road spray.
