Northwave’s Core Road Shoes combine great value with plenty of technology. The NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole is stiff enough to ensure your watts are translated into speed, and has five vents to keep air flowing freely. The seamless unibody construction of the upper keeps pressure even across the foot, and there are four mesh inserts and pores across the surface to further improve ventilation and prevent hot spots. Closure is via three velcro straps that offer fine adjustment to fit, that is easy to tweak on the go.
