Description
Petzl’s Iko Core Headlamp is a bright, light and versatile option which can run on the included CORE rechargeable battery or three AAA batteries, ideal for extended trips when recharging might not be an option. With the CORE battery, the output is an impressive 500 lumens for 2.5 hours, whilst even when using AAAs it can still produce 350 lumens. When set in its lowest, six lumens mode, the light lasts for a huge 100 hours.
The innovative AIRFIT headband uses a mixture of stiff and soft materials to provide a comfortable fit and the design also allows for it to be worn around the neck if preferred for some tasks. A good balance is provided by the slim, front-mounted light unit and rear-mounted battery, making it easy to wear when running or walking. A small LED indicates charge remaining and when the lock function has been activated to prevent it from being accidentally switched on.
