The jump to 16% ovalisation as compared to the regular Q-Rings' 10% helps to further increase the efficiency of your pedal stroke during high cadence and high output periods. This is why this chainring had become the choice of so many sprinters and climbers who pedal at a high cadence.
QXL's oval design reduces the intensity of the dead spot zone in your pedal stroke, making it more efficient in generating torque and a consistent level of power. This couples with the OCP points, which allow riders to position the rings to maximise efficiency and cater the QXL Rings to your individual style.
The QXL chainrings are made from 7075 T6 CNC-machined aluminium, which not only improves stiffness, it also cuts down dramatically on weight. Rotor's latest generation tooth profiles, ramps and pins also aid smoothness, especially when shifting up to the big ring, ensuring that slippage is a thing of the past.
