The Science in Sport Protein Bar Box of 20 x 55g contains a bespoke blend of easily digestible protein ideal for recovery and recuperation after you exercise. The blend of slow and fast release protein both helps you recover in the immediacy whilst also building and strengthening your muscles over time.
As your body adapts to the ever-increasing demands of your endurance training it will need to increase its muscle protein synthesis. This is done by new proteins being made in your muscles during the hours and days after your training sessions. In doing this your muscles become reconditioned to withstand greater physical demands.
For optimised protein absorption consume one bar within 30 to 60 minutes before and/or immediately after your exercise session.
