As temperatures drop going into winter there is only one jacket you are going to want to reach for, the Specialized Element RBX Elite H.V. Jacket.

Using the triple layered fabric, Gold 280 WR, gives you the best of all worlds. The outer layer creates a shell with its water repellent treatment, whilst the inner layer has been made hydrophilic so that sweat is rapidly transported away so that you do not get cold. In between these is a membrane to allow the jacket to breath as well as further protecting you agains the wind.

Specialized did not just focus on excellent material choice, they also considered the basics, such as a full length zip to allow you to modulate your ventilation. Additionally, there are two rear pockets which are repellent to water and mud, something that makes a lot of sense considering the amount of debris that gets flicked up your back during winter.

Finally, large reflective inserts are incorporated as Specialized understand that, typically, winter riding is not in the best of light conditions. These are large enough to keep you visible and safe though.
