The Specialized Presta Valve Inner Tube 650 x 20/28mm 48mm Valve offers outstanding performance and reliability thanks to Specialized's 'mould cured' method of production. This production method allows Specialized to manufacture their tubes to a thickness of only 0.8mm, whereas most of the competition are 0.9mm thick, a thinner tube is a lighter tube. This reduction in thickness does not affect reliability. Specialized's curing process allows for a more even cure and reduction in granularity of the butyl rubber, ultimately leading to a stronger tube.
