Description
One of the most popular training tools among professional cyclists, power meters are now a common addition among all levels of riders. Analysing your performance out on the trails can help you train more efficiently and using the Stages Cycling Power L Shimano DXR MX71 MTB Crank Arm will make you a more powerful, faster rider, ready to grab those podium positions.
The power meter is built onto an MX71 crank arm and replaces the existing non-drive side crank. With a low profile design, the unit only adds a mere 20 grams to your existing setup so you can retain a lightweight build. Tough and durable, IPX7 water resistance ensures data is reliable, and this is furthered by the Active Temperature Compensation that prevents irregularities in results due to variable temperatures.
Power recordings are extremely accurate, only varying ± 1.5% from your actual power for a true representation. Up to 2500 watts can be measured so even the most powerful riders are catered for and if you want to train your legs to spin faster, cadences up to 220 rpm will be recorded accurately. Your numbers are displayed on a compatible head unit so you can follow specific training sessions, and the improved ANT+ and Bluetooth radio transmission in this new model results in a six-times stronger signal for excellent reliability.
An LED has been added to display battery life on startup so you know when it's nearly time to replace it, and it will also confirm a successful zero reset. The battery is easy to replace with no need for tools, and the unit can be easily synced to third-party apps such as Strava.

Is my bike compatible with Stages Power Meters?
To help find your current crank model, check the inside of the crank arm for the model and length.
The next step is to check the power meter's compatibility with your frame; if the space between your crank arm and seat stay fits a 10mm Allen wrench between 5cm and 12cm from the centre of your bottom bracket, this should be compatible.
