Combining Wahoo's highly regarded KICKR Smart Turbo Trainer with their equally renowned ELEMNT ROAM Cycling GPS Computer, you can ride at your maximum effort whilst monitoring all your real-time data wirelessly, for a ride as, or if not more, efficient than being out on the road.
The KICKR is Wahoo's top turbo trainer, and thanks to a host of features, is even better than the original unit. The trainer pairs with a wide range of bikes, including those with disc brakes and 12x142mm or 12x148mm thru-axles. Weighing in at a solid 21kg, the KICKR provides a stable platform for confident, out of the saddle efforts, whilst its 7.25kg flywheel ensures a smooth, realistic ride every time.
Thanks to its reduced 61db operating noise, the KICKR is on the quiet side, making it a great choice for those living in a flat or training upstairs. Featuring a 2,200-watt maximum output, this trainer is ready to take on a range of training, equally efficient during long, high cadence rides as it is handling flat out interval sessions, and the cushioned KICKR AXIS feet ensure the feel of the trainer is as realistic to riding outdoors as possible. Accuracy has been increased too, and is now a market-leading +/- 1%, so you can be sure your numbers represent your true power outputs. Auto-calibration has been added to ensure this reliable power accuracy is maintained and the inclusion of it also eliminates the need to perform routine spindowns.
The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM Cycling GPS Computer is both Bluetooth 4.0 and ANT+ compatible, allowing you to monitor your performance wirelessly on the go. The computer can control the KICKR's resistance levels for a real-life cycling experience, whilst also having the capacity to pair with your Shimano Di2 and SRAM eTap drivetrains for additional real ride data.
The large colour screen clearly displays distance travelled, climb rate, elevation gain and live tracking. This last feature allows you to connect with other Wahoo users for a more social experience, whilst also allowing others to track your location when you're off the trainer and back on the road. Additionally, the ELEMNT ROAM can utilise its Bluetooth 4 to connect with your smartphone, notifying you when you receive a text or phone call. It features all the performance features of the original ELEMNT and the ELEMNT BOLT but has all the navigational features you could require for on and off-road adventures.
