Cannondale Scalpel Si HM World Cup 29" Mountain Bike 2019
Cannondale's Scalpel Si HM World Cup 27.5" / 29" Mountain Bike has an impressive record of cross country victories to its name, so there can be little doubting its abilities. The BallisTec Hi-MOD carbon frame features a FOX Float Factory DPS EVOL shock with 100mm travel, matched by the 100mm Lefty Ocho Carbon fork, both of which have a remote lockout for smoother sections of trail or for climbing. Cannondale’s Ai offset (asymmetric integration) allows for shorter chainstays for increased traction and agility without compromising on tyre size by moving the drivetrain outwards by 6mm.
As befits a premium race-ready machine, the drivetrain is SRAM’s XX1 Eagle 12-speed for rapid and precise shifting even under pressure, and the Level Ultimate hydraulic disc brakes are ready to perform tirelessly lap after lap. The seatpost and handlebar are carbon for maximum strength to weight, as are the ENVE M525 rims which adorn this machine. Fast bikes deserve rapid rubber and Schwalbe’s Racing Ray and Racing Ralph are exactly that, with a fast rolling tread and the ability to be set up tubeless for further traction, comfort and puncture resistance.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
