Cervelo S5 Red eTap AXS Disc Road Bike
Cervelo's S5 Red eTap AXS Disc Road Bike combines their fastest frame with SRAM’s premium electronic groupset and an impressive list of other components.
The carbon frame uses TrueAero frame design to ensure maximum aerodynamic efficiency, with the rear wheel nestled tight against the seat tube and the front wheel tucked into the down tube to keep the airflow as smooth as possible. The innovative CS028 Carbon V-Stem and SP20 Carbon Aero Post also contribute to the bike’s speed, saving over five watts when compared to the previous version. Power transfer has also been improved, with a 25% increase in bottom bracket stiffness and a 13% increase at the headtube.
Just like the S5, SRAM’s fully wireless 12-speed RED eTap AXS groupset has been well proven on the pro tour, offering virtually foolproof, instantaneous shifting at just a light press of the lever. The X-Range gearing provides more range with fewer jumps by using a unique system that has smaller than standard chainrings and a cassette that includes a 10 tooth sprocket, ensuring that the desired cadence is always at hand. Its connectivity means simple connection to bike computers and the AXS smartphone app, giving access to customisation options and extra data. There is even an integrated power meter included with this model so that training and racing can be monitored and measured more accurately.
Finishing off the premium specification is the super-quick Reserve 50/55mm carbon wheels. These offer an excellent balance of aerodynamics and handling with the rim helping airflow around the junction with the tyre. DT180 hubs are suitably high-quality, using SINC ceramic bearings and the Ratchet EXP 36 system to transfer drive to the rear wheel for smoother rolling and quick pick-up.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
