Purpose-built for fast cross-country riding, the Mavic Crossmax SL S 29" Centre Lock MTB Wheels are engineered to climb and descend at race pace. Drawing ever closer to weights seen only on carbon fibre models, but without the associated price tag, the rims use an ISM4D machining process to eliminate excess weight without impacting the strength of the wheel. 

Fore technology sees a completely sealed rim, negating the need for conventional rim tape and improving rim strength. The Infinity hub is lightweight and durable and features the Instant Drive 360 freewheel for near-instantaneous acceleration for a lively, fast ride character.
