The Ergo Ride seat pad alongside the Hot Ride Wick Matrix Power fabric combine to make this short particularly suited to warm-weather riding.

Mavic's Hot Ride technology provides riders with a superior level of temperature management through cycling Softgoods designed for optimal thermo regulation at hot temperatures (> 25°C/ 77°F). Through the Sleek Power material's moisture wicking properties, which actively transport moisture away from the surface of the skin, alongside a superior level of air-flow and breathability, these shorts are able to keep you cool even when the thermometer goes into the red.

The Ergo Ride seat pad provides you with state-of-the-art comfort through its progressive cushioning with three different densities and six different thicknesses of preshaped foam. This variable foam construction not only alleviates pressure point pain, but also acts to wick moisture for less irritation and chafing.

The bib straps themselves are constructed from highly elasticated fabric that holds its shape fantastically while also minimising abrasion. Flat-lock stitching further reduces the threat of abrasive chafing as well as enhancing the shorts' aerodynamic profile. Last but not least a radio pocket allows you to keep in contact with your team car if you are so inclined, or, more realistically store an energy gel or bar for a long day's ride.
