Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon CC XTR Reserve 27.5+ Mountain Bike 2020
Balancing agility and stability, the Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon CC XTR Reserve 27.5+ Mountain Bike is armed and ready to dissect any trail comprehensively. Root and rock-strewn jump lines through to sinuous singletrack and everything in-between; the Bronson can handle with aplomb any terrain that is thrust upon it.
An advanced carbon frame provides an efficient, strong and reactive keystone for everything to be built around. The integrated one-piece swingarm, VPP lower-link-mounted rear suspension design affords controlled impact management, consistent mid-stroke support and stable rear wheel tracking to grant snappy handling, pedalling efficiency and trail accuracy. The RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate fork then complements this by increasing ride composure via its plush levels of trail damping.
The ride feedback of the chassis can then be altered via the rear linkage Flip Chip. This intelligent device changes the bottom bracket height, shock-rate and mid-stroke support to grant a personalised trail configuration in line with the conditions ahead.
The 27.5+ wheelset format and its accompanying 2.6-inch tyres offer a great blend of traction and vertical compliance without sacrificing too much cornering support and accuracy. The full carbon rims are designed specifically to heighten impact resistance while the i9 Hydra hubs are chosen for their smooth bearings and hardy, precision-made shells.
All manner of topography can be passed over via the wide-ranging 12-speed cassette that features a gear ratio for any riding scenario. These gears are precisely chosen with accurate, electronic shifting by the range-topping Shimano XTR groupset. The E13 TRSr crankset then ensures that no pedalling effort is wasted before stopping is charged to a refined hydraulic brake set up.
The RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post and the Santa Cruz carbon handlebars then crown a comprehensive off-road feature list.
