Specialized Epic Hardtail Expert 29" Mountain Bike 2022
Perfectly balancing low weight with copious lateral stiffness, the FACT 11m carbon frame of the Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail 29" Mountain Bike affords stunning levels of reactivity, helping the rider surge across challenging XC courses with speed and efficiency. The frame’s sophisticated carbon layup promises heightened vertical compliance, allowing it to float over the roughest terrain, markedly lowering rider fatigue. Additionally, extra frame-to-tyre clearance accommodates bigger volume tyres for even more control over rocks, roots and ruts.
A RockShox SID SL fork utilises its plush suspension to smooth the hits, increasing composure and line accuracy when the riding is fast and technical. In addition, this fork integrates Brain inertia technology that automatically and intuitively firms or softens its travel, providing a solid, no bob platform on climbs but a full quota of plushness across unforgiving trails.
Stiff and strong Roval Control SL wheels utilise their lightweight carbon rims to promote rapid accelerations and nimble direction changes, while the SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed gear configuration gives sharp shifts every time of asking amongst a huge range of ratios. Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
