Trek Fuel EX 9.8 GX Mountain Bike 2021
With 130mm of travel at the back and 140mm up front from FOX Performance Floatshock units, the Trek Fuel EX 9.8 GX Mountain Bike is the consummate trail machine, able to perform on long days out and short local loops alike. The OCLV Mountain Carbon frame is light, stiff and robust, with technology like Knock Block, Carbon Armor and Control Freak internal routing keeping it well protected from the knocks of off-road riding. The bike’s geometry can be tweaked to personal preference using the Mino Link to slacken the head angle and lower the bottom bracket if required.
SRAM’s GX Eagle 12-speed mechanical groupset makes full use of their latest cassette which offers a gear range of 10-52 teeth so no hill is too steep and when descending the other side, the four pistons of the G2 RS hydraulic disc brakes will provide plenty of power and confidence. A Bontrager Line Elite Dropper seatpost makes it quick and easy to lower the saddle for some extra room in the cockpit and both the carbon Bontrager Line Elite 30 wheels and XR4 Team Issue tyres are tubeless-ready for straightforward conversion.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
