Trek Rail 7 Electric Mountain Bike 2021
All the capability of an analogue MTB with 250W of assistance available when needed - the Trek Rail 7 Electric Mountain Bike is a rip-roaring ride crafted from durable Alpha Platinum aluminium and built for trails. The Bosch Performance CX Motor kicks into play up to 25km/h and is compact, light and efficient to minimise drag when freewheeling and feel unobtrusive whilst pedalling. The Bosch PowerTube 625 battery sits within the frame when in use, maintaining a clean silhouette, and can be removed without the need for tools when a charge is needed. A full charge is complete in a little under five hours, but the battery can be used at less than full capacity should the need for a spontaneous ride emerge.
The responsive RockShox Yari RC fork provides a tasty 160mm of travel to tackle varied terrain, and there's 150mm of travel to the rear with the RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock - so it's safe to say this bike can handle higher drops. The Mino Link adjustable geometry can be tweaked to suit rider preference and the TranzX JD-YSP18 dropper seatpost is advantageous on sweeping bends and technical descents.
The 1x12-speed Shimano drivetrain makes for easier maintenance and consistent, reliable shifting with a generous gear range that keeps grinding at bay when gradients ramp up. Go full send on technical descents with confidence thanks to Shimano M6120 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, which boast heavy-duty stopping power regardless of terrain or conditions.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
