Trek Rail 9.9 X01 AXS Electric Mountain Bike 2021
Specced with top-tier components, the Trek Rail 9.9 X01 AXS Electric Mountain Bike is a serious contender when it comes to ripping up trails with some added assistance. The OCLV Mountain Carbon chassis keeps weight down and stiffness high, with the Bosch PoweTube 625 battery slotting neatly into the downtube and boasting simple removal for fuss-free charging, without the need for tools. There's room for a bottle cage to be fitted alongside this battery, which is completely charged in just under five hours. Bosch's lightest, smallest and most powerful motor, the Bosch Performance CX, lends a maximum of 250w at up to 25km/h to alleviate uphill sections and operates with minimal drag when not in use.
Geometry can be slightly adjusted to best fit rider preference using the Mino Link, whilst a tasty 160mm of travel is provided by the premium RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork and, courtesy of the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock, 150mm to the rear. This rear shock is complete with a RE:aktiv thru shaft to amp up response speed and track terrain more efficiently, ensuring trail chatter is diminished by this impressive suspension set up.
The completely wireless SRAM Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain features an extra-low 52-tooth climbing gear to ensure smooth pedal strokes prevail even over testing gradients - resulting in optimised, consistent motor function. Shifting is clean, sharp, smart and refined whilst stopping power is certain thanks to SRAM Code RSC hydraulic disc brakes. The combination of wide rims and burly tyres mean fast-rolling performance and sure-footed traction in rough corners, whilst the Bontrager SE5 Team Issue tyres can be run tubeless to eliminate pinch flats at low pressures.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
