Cervelo Aspero Rival eTap AXS Disc Gravel Bike 2023
Sitting firmly at the racier end of the gravel spectrum, the Cervelo Aspero Rival eTap AXS Disc Gravel bike brings together a rapid off-road frame with SRAM’s wireless technology, giving a fast and efficient way to travel across any terrain.
The carbon frame and fork can be used with either 700c or 650b wheels, with the fork’s Trail Mixer flip-chip altering the trail accordingly. Clearance is ample for using 42mm tyres with 700c wheels or 49mm rubber with the smaller wheel size, so the bike’s characteristics can be adjusted to suit the ride, race or rider. Despite the frame's undoubted efficiency and stiffness, there is still enough compliance to reduce vibrations, especially when using larger volume tyres.
Reserve’s carbon rimmed wheels are light, strong and fast, with some aerodynamic advantages to boot. The tubeless-ready rim width works well with wider tyres, supporting the sidewalls and allowing lower pressures to be used without fear of pinch punctures. Ever-reliable Zipp 176 hubs ensure smooth rolling and good bearing longevity.
SRAM’s longer cage XPLR rear allows the use of a large 44 tooth rear cassette for longer or hillier rides and ties in perfectly with the 12-speed fully wireless Rival groupset. Shifts are communicated to the derailleurs without the need for cables or wires, so are not affected by water, mud or wear and the large shifter paddles are very easy to operate even when wearing full-finger gloves. The finishing kit comes courtesy of Easton with the handlebar and seatpost made from carbon to reduce weight and improve comfort.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
