Cervelo’s UCI legal Cervelo P5 Force eTap AXS 1 Disc TT/Triathlon Bike has been designed with the express purpose of completing time trials or the bike leg of triathlons as fast as possible. 

The carbon frame has proved its worth on the pro tour, with the latest carbon layup reducing weight and increasing stiffness at the head tube and bottom bracket for more efficient power transfer and better handling. Finely honed, the tube shapes and internal brake cabling help make the bike as slippery as possible whilst the water bottle and top tube storage have also been included in the aerodynamic calculations so that it remains fast even when loaded up for a long event.

SRAM’s fully wireless Force eTap AXS 12-speed 12-speed groupset is a great match, completely negating the need to route any wires or gear cables around the bike and enabling shifting from the basebar and the extensions. A single aero front ring keeps things simple on the drivetrain front and the chainset includes an integrated power meter to help monitor performance.

The Reserve 50-65mm wheels are race-ready, with a light, wind-cheating design that utilises DT Swiss’ 350 hubs for fantastic reliability and serviceability. A mention should also go to Cervelo’s Speed Riser cockpit design that makes for very simple height adjustments and is also easy to break down for transport, yet is extremely aerodynamic too.
