Road helmets do not get much quicker than the Giro Air Attack Road Helmet with Shield 2017. With new colours for 2017, the Air Attack is the ultimate speed weapon and has been used by the likes of sprint sensation Alexander Kristoff and time trialling powerhouse Taylor Phinney.

Developed in the wind tunnel, the Air Attack is both aerodynamic and well ventilated. You will be moving rapidly wearing this helmet, so the addition of a Carl Zeiss Optical Vision shield is a welcome one. Providing excellent clarity whilst also protecting your eyes from the sun's rays and road debris. This shield features a magnetic fastening enabling you to either flip the shield up or remove it completely.

A snug fit is achieved the Roc Loc Air fit system. This provides micro adjustment, allowing you to adjust fore-aft tilt with one hand on the move. This pioneering fit system suspends the helmet over the head, thus improving airflow. Further adding to this helmet's excellent ventilation credentials are the carefully placed internal channels and six vents. This forms part of Giro's Wind Tunnel-aided Design, channelling air through and out the rear of the helmet. This makes the Air Attack perfect for road, track or triathlon events.

In-Mould construction adds strength and improves protection. This technology, paired with an EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Liner, makes the Air Attack incredibly lightweight, weighing just 330 grams in the large size.

A helmet for long rides, the X-Static® Comfort padding is discrete, washable and breathable. The lightweight webbing is non obtrusive, with a Slimline™ buckle providing a secure closure. This is easy to use with one hand and makes adjusting the strap length a simple task.
