Trek X-Caliber 8 Mountain Bike 2021
The Trek X-Caliber 8 Mountain Bike is designed to perform at a high level in any cross-country setting but does so with high affordability. Combining a mixture of singletrack-inspired traits with dependable and lightweight components, the X-Caliber 8 is the perfect partner to take on any race, marathon or fast-paced group ride.
The Alpha Gold aluminium frame provides a solid core to the ride by being light, reactive to power input and robust for the roughest of trails. The frame is complemented by the enhanced control and line accuracy provided by the RockShox Judy SL suspension fork and its plush levels of cushioning. This fork also features a neat lockout feature for increased efficiency across smoother terrain or when climbing. The chassis is infused with composed but reactive handling thanks to its singletrack-themed geometry.
Durable but light-alloy wheels afford peace of mind across harsh surfaces but also facilitate frequent changes of pace. The Smart Wheel Sizing concept ensures that the ideal size of wheels, either 27.5" or 29", are mated to the correct frame size, to award a balanced ride sensation regardless of the rider's stature. The wheel rims are compatible with tubeless-ready tyres so that this upgrade can be made easily at a later date.
Gear changes are catered for by the smooth and reliable SRAM SX Eagle setup, with its 1x12-speed configuration providing a vast range of ratios for any topography. Hydraulic disc brakes complete the build by contributing modulated and reliable stopping power in any weather conditions.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
