AMP

Using their knowledge of composite materials, two French engineers formed AMP with the aim to improve on the currently available disc brake pads. By using carbon as the backing material, not only is weight saved but also brake squeal is greatly reduced and heat dissipation improved. The company also runs a recycling scheme for used pads to reduce its environmental impact.
