Innovative New Road Tubeless Technologies
Tubeless Complete
In a master stroke of evolution, Goodyear has taken the tubeless-ready tyre standard to new heights by installing a multi-compound material layer to their Road-UHP tyre casing. The Tubeless Liner is designed to be less porous, maintaining better air retention, and resisting the absorption of sealant. So, while it might add a little extra weight to the tyre, it also ensures more of the sealant remains in the air chamber, ready to do its job when you really need it.
Dual Angle Bead
Getting your road tubeless tyres to seat properly can be a real test of your patience. To help you get it right first time, Goodyear has designed the Dual Angle Bead. Looking at a cross-section of the bead, you can clearly see a lip of rubber, designed to make contact with the rim bed, so you can achieve a primary seal before the bead seats fully into the rim wall under the pressure of full inflation. This should make installation much easier for the majority of home mechanics.
Forward Facing Fitment
Keeping an eye on the future and the trend for wheel manufacturers to refine their rim shapes to better utilise a tubeless setup, the Tubeless Complete range of Goodyear tyres is compatible with both ‘hooked’ Tubeless Crochet (TC) and ‘hookless’ Tubeless Straight Sidewall (TSS) rims.
It’s worth noting that the clincher tyres in the new range are designed specifically for use with tubes and are only compatible with hooked Crotchet rims.

This top of the range offering from Goodyear features the Dynamic:GSR Compound with impeccable grip and low rolling resistance, promising to be a very fast tyre indeed. Available in both standard clincher and Tubeless Complete variants; with the clincher enjoying R:Shield puncture protection and the tubeless version benefitting from the abovementioned innovative new liner.
Supple 120tpi casing keeps the ride soft and the weight low, with the 25mm clincher version tipping the scales at just 190 grams. Pair these with some latex tubes and enjoy explosive acceleration. Sizes range from 23c to 28c in both tubeless and clincher options.

The size-specific R:Shield layer is a little wider on the clincher model than on the SuperSport too, so you’re better protected against punctures. Goodyear quality for every budget, the Eagle Sport is a great training tyre with a Dynamic:Pace compound that still promotes low rolling resistance and strong puncture protection, negating the need for an additional puncture protection layer. The 60tpi casing is supple, helping to improve comfort on everyday rides and the folding bead keeps the weight down. This option is only available in a clincher version for using with tubes in a traditional hooked rim setup. The 25c version weighs just 250 grams, making it a fantastic value tyre.

Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Road Tyres
With 8.7% more wet grip than the Dynamic:GSR compound, Goodyear’s Dynamic:Silica4 is the perfect compound for year-round training and group riding. Abrasion resistance is also boosted a little, but the majority of the impressive puncture resistance comes from two key components beneath. The R:Armour Protection layer is a bead to bead anti-cut material, while the 30mm wide R:Shield is a dedicated anti-puncture belt. Great ride quality is assured by the 120tpi casing which keeps the weight way down too.
The Tubeless Complete version has a ‘belts and braces’ approach to puncture protection, combining the same R:Armour and R:Shield protection layers as the clincher version with an additional Tubeless Liner for unrivalled confidence in your sealant doing its job. There is a lot of technology in this tyre, and the 25mm tubeless version weighs just 290 grams with the clincher tipping the scales at just 235 grams.
