Of course, safety is also a fundamental feature. The multi-shell in-mould design is engineered with a tough outer shell matched to a shock-absorbing EPS foam inner. Really nice helmet. Fits perfectly and looks good. The only down side is that the front forehead padding is a little thin and narrow so causes slight discomfort on longer rides. I now wear a Halo sweatband and this has solved the problem.
