With a comprehensive feature set, the Ale Black Reflective Gilet can be worn or stowed away neatly in line with rapidly changing autumn and spring conditions and also enhances safety on dark roads.
The Ale Reflective WindTex material features on the front and back panels to completely block chilly winds from hitting the torso. At the same time, its low weight allows the gilet to be scrunched up and stowed in a jersey pocket when the temperatures rise. Embedding microspheres of glass into its surface, this fabric is tremendously reflective when in the line of car headlights to heighten rider safety on dark roads markedly.
Lightweight mesh panels are added to the sides to improve breathability while the ergonomic cut reduces material flapping in the wind but still allows enough room for a base layer and a warm jersey to be worn underneath.

1) Measure around the chest at the fullest part just under the arms.
2) Measure around the waist over the belly button.
3) Measure over the hip bones at the strongest point when standing.
4) Measure from the crotch to the base of the ankle bone.
Not worn this garment too heavily, but it is easily able to go in a jersey pocket when not needed. It is like a non-reflective gilet in all respects of feel and fit. It is cut sparingly though. I normally take a large jersey (42" chest) and in a Large this gilet only works if you are in spring/summer tops. If you want it over a winter jacket go up to XL (which is what the size guide sort of suggested, but I was offended by XL!)
